Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extreme Wear Nail Polish

Okay so I was running in Walgreens to grab some hair products and went down the nail polish isle and the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear polishes were 2 for $4 and I just had to get some, LoL.  There were beautiful spring colors a wide variety to choose from, and I needed some new spring colors anyways. These colors would look great on the toes as well.

Coastal Scents Hot Pots: Affordable Eyeshadows

Coastal Scents has a variety of hot pot eyeshadows in every color imaginable, but the best part is that they are a great price they are all $1.99.  I recently purchased some and I love them the quality is very very similar if not the same as a MAC shadow.  I love the color range and the fact that they are so creamy and blend so well.  I wish I would of bought some sooner.  If your a makeup artist or someone who collects eyeshadows check out Coastal Scents HOT POTS you will not be let down.

Milani Lip Flash Pencil: 07 In a Flash

Milani Lip Flash pencil is a really great product and has very trendy colors.  I purchased the 07 In a Flash color and its a fantastic color against my skin tone.  The color is a purplish fuschia but more purple with glitter and it is very shiny on the lips.  The pencil really reminds me of the NYX Jumbo lip pencils, but the Milani one is a gloss-lipstick-liner in one I think its great.  I was very surprised that its a long lasting lip product.  Very pretty color and great product.

Sigma Brushes Review: Awesome Brushes

I recently purchased a few brushes from Sigma Beauty.  I bought the F84-Angled Top Kabuki, F82-Round Top Kabuki & F30-Large Powder Brush.  Im must say I give the brushes a 10, I currently have a few of the eye brushes and I use at least one of them everyday when applying eye makeup. 

First let me just say both the F84 & F82 are just wonderful at applying foundation that is what I have used them for.  So far my favorite out of the two is the F84-Angled Top Kabuki, its great for getting in the eye area and around the nose because of the angle shape.  The F82-Flat Top is great for buffing and blending in concealer under the eye(at least thats what I used it for).  These brushes are great I would recommend to anyone.  Forgot to mention you can get both brushes F84 & F82 for $24 a great deal.

The F30-Large Powder Brush is awesome I have been using it with all my powder setting products.  I feel like it puts the product on with just a few sweeps and gives a really pretty finish.

Oily Skin Control Under Makeup : Staying Matte

Do you have oily skin and are looking for ways to control shine?  I have tried two products that are excellent at controlling  oily skin.  Its nothing like applying beautiful makeup and in a few hours when you look in the mirror there is shine, I hate that.  A key to staying matte for oily skin is a fresh clean face that is moisturized with and oil free mositurizer and then after the moisturizer has set on the skin a few minutes apply and oil control lotion or oil mattifier or even both.  I have been using MAC's oil control lotion as a moisturizer then applying my makeup, and somedays I like to switch it up and use an oil free moisturizer then apply Mary Kay's oil mattifier.  Both products are great and if you have oily skin give them a try for a matte look.  Also dont forget to set your makeup with a setting spray, powder, or blotting powder.

OMG!  I just love the Revlon Lip butters they are fantastic and so moisturizing for your lips.  When they first came out I was dying to get my hands on a few, I ended up buying 6 of them and Im so glad I did.  They give you moisture, color, and shine all in one. Also if your someone who wants to experiment with a fuschia or red lip try lollipop and redvelvet you will love them.  They are also great over your favorite lipstick for shine or over a lipliner.

2012 Spring Beauty Trends

Spring is here!

Spring beauty trends for 2012 are all about natural glowing skin, winged eyeliner, and a bright fuschia, peach, red, purple and natural lips.  Some great ways to achieve a natural but trendy look this spring is to use moisturizer its a must and tinted moisturizers give you a natural but light foundation feel.  To seal the tinted moisturizer use a blotting powder/setting powder or foundation powder.  To achieve a pretty wing liner look use a gel liner with a brush or even a liquid eyeliner.  For a pretty bright spring lip moisturize you lips first and then apply your vibrant shade.  Take a look at some of the products I use to achieve this natural spring & bright lip trend.
